From Spreadsheets to Intelligence

In 2000, Global Securities possessed a vast library of historical KSE data stored in fragmented Excel sheets. While the original plan was simple file-hosting, our founder proposed a radical alternative: A Data Driven Web-Based Research Terminal.

This required migrating years of non-standardized data into a structured MySQL relational database and building custom scrapers to ingest live interbank USD and REPO rates in an era before modern APIs.
