DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

At FAAZ TECH, we believe that development and operations should be a seamless loop. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is obsessed with the “C” in CI/CD—Continuous everything. You will be the architect of our deployment pipelines and the guardian of our cloud infrastructure. Your goal is to empower our developers to ship code faster, safer, and with more confidence than ever before.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Automate deployment pipelines to ensure zero-downtime releases for complex web and mobile applications.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate services to ensure high availability.
• Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack) to catch issues before users do.
• Tighten security protocols across the entire stack, managing VPCs, IAM roles, and SSL certificates.
• Optimize cloud spend by right-sizing resources and implementing cost-effective scaling policies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• Strong proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash or Python).
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
• A “security-by-design” philosophy and experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a major plus, though not strictly required for all projects.
